I can't figure out if this is a good idea or the epitome of laziness. +3 reply

Hmmm.. perplexing. I could see a need for this if everyone were actually fat and lazy, but the people are seemingly fit. +4 reply

but if that was the message they wanted to deliver they would only photograph fit people... who ever they are. i wonder if this place just has lots of hills +4 reply

I invented it to take me up the hill and fuck the women at the top. When I ran up the hill before I had this I was too tired to chase them. +4 reply

Someone should invent bikes with selectable gears, to make it easier to pedal uphill. +3 reply

Scoff if you will, but I predict that within the next 100 years, bikes will be so advanced that they will be able to run on fossil fuels. reply

I saw one of those in Italy. Trust me the hill it was on was so steep, children with seemingly unending energy were run ragged halfway up. It cost a pretty penny to use the damned thing, but the view was worth it. reply

I bet that they probably have a fucking chair waiting for you on the other side to take you down the fucking hill too reply
    • HoraceRider posted 2 years ago
Yeah, the guy sitting in the chair going down the other side of the hill is where they get the power to make the pedals go up this side. Norwegians aren't as dumb as Garrison Keiler makes them out to be. reply

Go here for a film clip of the lift in action. Although I didn't know that 1995 was 25 years ago.................. http://bikehugger.com/2008/05/gliding_up_hills_in_norway_the.htm reply

Correction 1993 apparently was 25 years ago. At the end of the film clip it tells you this is in Trondhiem reply
